Way to analyze students' interests in sports practices.
Students from grade 6 to grade 9.
Ask each student through post-activity self-assessment how they felt engaged in the 3 moments experienced in class, individually, in small groups and with the whole group (develop the 3-step self-assessment for each student to answer after a certain activity).
We used three types of physical exercises (individual, small groups and large groups), each week an exercise was practiced after a self-assessment. The questionnaire had two yes / no questions and an open question. Students must express themselves through the VT Routine and share with partners and teachers.
The final result showed that the interests of middle school students are more relevant to the games of large groups, but had considerable acceptance in small groups. Students were not significantly interested in individual activities.
Observing the results, we were able to analyze which students' interests related to sports activity and with that we can develop learning strategies that engage students in new sports modalities having a greater motivation in carrying out the activities. Upon reaching this goal, the emotional partner of each student will be positively influenced and this will result in a pedagogical and personal improvement.
The next step is to use this strategy as a tool for analyzing students' interests in sports.
